# Messages

Send e-mail/SMS messages related to reservations.

## Send e-mail message for reservation

> Sends an e-mail related to the reservation using one of the user's verified SMTP accounts. \`{tags}\` and \`\[\[dynamic\_tags]]\` in \`subject\`/\`message\` are replaced with reservation, client, room and property data. Attachments are sent inline as base64 in JSON (max 10 files, 10 MB total). Required scope: \`messages.send\`.

## Send OTA chat message for reservation

> Sends a chat message to the guest of the reservation on the OTA channel the reservation originates from (Airbnb or Booking.com). The channel is detected automatically; reservations that do not originate from these portals are rejected with \`RESERVATION\_HAS\_NO\_OTA\_CHAT\`. \`{tags}\` and \`\[\[dynamic\_tags]]\` in \`message\` are replaced with reservation data (payment link tags are not supported on OTA chats). Required scope: \`messages.send\`.

## Get unified reservation conversation

> Returns all messages related to the reservation — sent e-mails, sent SMS and both sides of the OTA chat conversation (Airbnb or Booking.com, depending on the reservation origin) — merged chronologically (ascending). Required scope: \`messages.read\`.
